Google launched Google Business in June. At that time, Google felt that it was important to give internet users another tool to help them verify businesses online. Google Business allows users to verify contact information and verify business listing through their personal Google profiles. This made a big stir online and offline.

Before getting into the How is Google My Business?, you must understand how Google works. Before you can use Google+ Business, you must create a profile that looks like your regular business profile. When you log in to Google, you will be able to see a new tab on the left side called “Google+ Business.” This tab will let you plug-in your Google+ profile photo and click the “Verify contact information” link. Once you complete the verification process, you are now ready to upload your business name and other necessary information.

Once you upload your profile and verified contact information, you are now ready to upload your business listing. The steps listed below are how to quickly and instantly verify your Google+ profile. When you follow these steps, you will be taken to the verification page.

Step One: After you click the verification link, you will be taken back to your home page. Under the section that says” Verify”, click the link for” Verify”, which is located at the bottom of the page. You will be taken back to your Google+ business name page. Here you will see the option for choosing whether or not you want to verify your information now.

Step Two: Once you have chosen to verify your business name and other relevant information, the next step is to verify your email address. For this step, you will click “Verify Email Address,” which is located at the upper right-hand corner of the page. Once you have done so, you will be taken back to your Google+ account page. At this point, you can select “I Agree” or” rejecting” to confirm that you really do want to verify your email address.

Step Three: When you click “Require Verification” below the phrase” Verify,” you will be taken back to the verification form. The first option that you have is “I Agree” and the second option is “Really Need.” You will then be asked to type in your information again. You may want to use an input field that asks you to type in your phone number or website domain if it is a paid site. Once you have completed this step, you will be asked to confirm your email address.

Step Four: After you have verified your email address, you can add more people you would like verification for. You can only add up to 5 people at a time. Once you have reached your desired number of people, you will be taken back to the verification form. The next option that you will see is the message stating that you have successfully verified your business. Clicking on the displayed link will take you to a page where you can click on “Sign In now.” When you have successfully signed in, you will be taken back to your Google+ account page.
